Bringing a celebration of New Orleans inspired music, Indigo Moon Brass Band, with special guest Justin Mazer, will join the Come Back to the Kirby Series on Saturday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m.
 
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased by phone at (570) 826-1100 and online at www.kirbycenter.org. The Sundance Vacations Box Office at the F.M. Kirby Center will open for in person sale on Tuesday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m.
 
Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 day of show.
 
Indigo Moon Brass Band has previously performed as part of the F.M. Kirby Center’s Chandelier Lobby Series. This summer the band will take the main stage at the Kirby Center for the special ‘Come Back’ series. This series also features weekly Friday classic movies.
 
Indigo Moon Brass Band are a Jazz/Funk ensemble from Northeastern Pennsylvania rooted in traditional New Orleans second-line music. They feature horn players Nick Driscoll (Sax), Dan Coil (trumpet), Gary Rixner (trombone) and George Levandowski (sousaphone), with A.J. Jump (drums) and Rick Statsmen (percussion) supplying the rhythm.
 
Justin Mazer is a guitarist based out of the northeastern Pennsylvania. He is fortunate to tour the country and make music with all kinds of incredibly talented individuals. Justin has been featured in national publications such as Rolling Stone, Relix, and Guitar Player Magazine. Through years of relentless touring with a number of bands and projects, Justin has graced the stages of many iconic clubs, theaters, and concert halls across the USA, including appearances at major music festivals such as Firefly Music Festival, Lockn, and Peach Fest as well as international cruises Jam Cruise and Cayamo. He has also had music featured in TV shows such as Z Nation on SYFY.
