WALK THE MOON derived their name from the song “Walking on the Moon” by The Police. The band formed in 2006 and independently released their debut solo album I want! I want! in 2010. Their track “Anna Sun” received airplay on a number of alternative radio stations. Following the success of this single Alt Nation named them a band you need to know for the summer of 2012. WALK THE MOON signed with RCA Records and in June of 2012 they released their first major label studio album, Walk The Moon. The album includes a re-recorded version of “Anna Sun”. In December of 2014 the band released their second major label studio album, Talking Is Hard. This album featured their mega hit “Shut Up and Dance”. In January 2019, the band released their new single “Timebomb”.
In Real Life is comprised of the final five vocalists from the reality television music competition series Boy Band. The group is comprised of Brady Tutton, Chance Perez, Drew Ramos, Sergio Calderon, and Michael Conor. The band released several singles in April of 2018 and most recently opened up for the American Idol summer tour.
Rachel Crow finished fifth place in the American version of The X Factor in 2011. After her elimination she reached out to Walt Disney for possible roles in future productions which resulted in her starring in multiple television shows and movies including Big Time Rush, Inside Edition, Figure It Out, and more. Crow most recently starred in the Netflix original film Deidra & Laney Rob a Train.
Johnny Orlando is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actor. Orlando first received attention on social media after he posted covers of pop songs by artists such as Justin Bieber and Austin Mahone on his YouTube channel. In May of 2018 he signed with Universal Music Canada and released singles “What If” (featuring Mackenzie Ziegler) and “Last Summer”. His full debut EP was released in 2019 and he has embarked on his first headlining North American tour.
